Peckham Power and Energy Saving Trust event

 17th April 2010 Peckham Power and Energy Saving Trust team up for an Energy Saving showcase event. The event will be held in Area10 which is in the Eagle Wharf building in Peckham Square just behind Peckham Library. This will be a practical, hands-on event with demonstrations on loft insulation, sustainable energy workshops and driving simulators.

HOW TO: Save Energy, Save Money

With the support of the Energy Saving Trust, Peckham Power are running a green fair in AREA10, just off Peckham Market Square (behind Peckham Library) this Saturday, from 2-6pm.
 
The emphasis of this event is on practical demonstrations of what can be done, or practical advice sessions around the theme of saving energy and saving money.

• Energy doll's house for hands-on energy saving things to do at home
• Planting how to make free containers to plant your veg in
• Dr Bike
• Diving simulator
• Snakes and ladders energy game
• Energy help-desk and grants advice
• Heating controls workshop
• Electric vehicles display 
• Energy Saving Workshop
