UK Government are opening up data about energy consumption (forum post)

The UK government are publishing lots of public data on the new web service data.gov.uk.  Here's a lot of free, structured data on electricity and gas comsumption: http://data.gov.uk/search/results/content_type%3Ackan_package%20electricity
